2024 – PRESENT
Mixti Wanaxe Lodge 720
Mixti Wanaxe Lodge 720, with the northern mockingbird as its totem, continues the proud tradition of the Order of the Arrow. Formed in 2024, Mixti Wanaxe Lodge embodies the values of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service, bringing together members from the legacy lodges to create a united and vibrant community dedicated to the principles of Scouting. Quapaw Lodge 160, Wachtschu Mawachpo Lodge 559, and A-Booik-Paa-Gun Lodge 399 served as cornerstone lodges, laying the foundation for Mixti Wanaxe’s strong traditions and values.
1939 – 2024
Quapaw Lodge 160
Quapaw Lodge 160 has a long history of dedication to the Scouting movement. Established in 1939, Quapaw Lodge played a pivotal role in promoting camping, leadership, and community service. Over its many years, it fostered a strong sense of brotherhood and cheerfulness among its members. As one of the cornerstone lodges of Mixti Wanaxe, its legacy continues to inspire new generations of Scouts.
1963 – 2024
Wachtschu Mawachpo Lodge 559
Since its founding in 1963, Wachtschu Mawachpo Lodge 559 has been a beacon of the Order of the Arrow’s values. The lodge has a rich legacy of service projects, leadership development, and fostering camaraderie among its members, leaving a lasting impact on the Scouting community. As a cornerstone lodge of Mixti Wanaxe, Wachtschu Mawachpo’s traditions and spirit live on in the new lodge.
1948 – 2024
A-Booik-Paa-Gun Lodge 399
A-Booik-Paa-Gun Lodge 399 has a storied past within the Order of the Arrow. Known for its unique traditions and strong commitment to the principles of the OA, the lodge has been a pillar of support and service within the Scouting community. In June of 2024, A-Booik-Paa-Gun became a cornerstone lodge of Mixti Wanaxe, contributing its rich history and values to the new lodge’s foundation.
1947 – 2012
Wazhazee Lodge 366
Wazhazee Lodge 366 was an integral part of the Order of the Arrow from its founding in 1947 until 2012. With a legacy of remarkable service and leadership, Wazhazee Lodge inspired countless Scouts and Scouters to uphold the values of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service.
1949 – 2002
Hi’ Lo Ha Chy’ A-La Lodge 413
Founded in 1949, Hi’ Lo Ha Chy’ A-La Lodge 413 marked its 50th anniversary in 1998. The lodge merged into Quapaw Lodge on December 31, 2002, following the merger of its council into Quapaw Area Council. Despite the merger, the ideals and principles of Lodge 413 have continued to influence and inspire. Many of its traditions and innovations from the 1950s to the 1980s have been adopted by other lodges, including Quapaw Lodge. The lodge’s legacy of developing future leaders and fostering a spirit of cheerful service remains strong, proving that “What is Past, Is Prologue.”
